the live preview is on now, problem is... quite a lot of us had to refresh the page to get the chat working again and now we cannot re-connect :(
If anyone is still connected can you let them know we have this issue and ask if they are resolving it ?

Tried the test broadcast yesterday and it worked fine, both picture and sound. So, now it's just an hour until the live conference starts.

It will be fun! :D

Hi - to those who watched Day 1, how was it? Seriously considering subscribing (more for the DVDs than the live stream) - worth it?

Sorry i havnt stopped back in before now, but the eent was BRILLIANT.
So inspiring, so wonderful and you truely feel part of the conference.

David copperfield's tour was jsut amazing and well worth the money just for that!
Some brilliant suprises aswel from Jordan Gomez to name one - for a 19 year old the way his mind works is out of this world.

The farewell message from berglas with the music... got me real badly, tears were shred from here i tell you.

Im looking forward to next year already!

sorry im ranting on a bit but im still riding the EMC wave :D

The entire conference was brilliant again. Loved Topaz and Gaetan Bloom's performances, didn't expect a semi-masterclass on the Chop Cup from Paul Daniels. Even the rough edges from last year's performances were irradiated.

However. There were two things that made this year's a bit of a downer:
1 - Streaming issues, meaning we couldn't watch some sessions live. Not a big problem, we can all catch up with the On-Demand versions later. Not the end of the world...
2 - The mountain of people in the chat whining endlessly whenever something happened to the stream. Constant screaming like babies because they couldn't see what was being shown. As a moderator in a gaming chatroom, I should be used to this kind of abuse, but I found it to be extremely disrespectful. Entitled much?

Still loved it all, mind.

The Copperfield Museum was awesome

Postby Magicfanatic » Jul 11th, '11, 18:41

Did everyone see Copperfield's museum during the EMC??? It was sick! Thank god for Twitter. I would have never known about it unless he tweeted.

They say:

Register now and see Chris Power and JJ lecture at EMC. And get your free pdf download of Opus Magazine Volume 1, edited by Ian Keable. This will be distributed online exclusively to members following their presentation.
