Promo Video 2011

Postby Jing » Jun 30th, '11, 16:13

Well here is a short video I made. Just a casual thing in bars and restaurants in Birmingham and Manchester.
Hopefully I'll make another for next year. I really enjoyed making it, and I also enjoyed putting together some other videos of specific routines, which aren't publicly available (they are a record of the sort of magic I am doing the most right now).

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it and feel free to join me on facebook, twitter, etc... all the links are on my website.

Nice video, some great reactions there :)
I know you said on your website that you wanted to concentrate on the reactions of the spectators, but it would be nice to see a complete effect, perhaps something short near the centre of the clip ?

I just noticed that you've put a bunch of end-of-routine reactions and actions (things like handing out the sharpie for inspection and "do that again" comment) at the end. I really like that idea, great stuff

I wonder if it would work if you started off with the opening line of a trick? (The more non-cliché it is, the better)

Also, I really like the song you used

"People who hail from Manchester cannot possibly be upper class and therefore should not use silly pretentious words"
