It sounds boring, predictable, and frustrating but....practice.
It took me a while to get the pressure fan down, and I buckled many a deck in the process. Eventually though, and as long as your grip is right, it will just happen and you'll get it. A sunbeam will break through the clouds and illuminate you, angels will sing and your mother will openly weep.
Then you'll try it again and it will fail. But remount that horse and persevere. The 'snap' that many tutorials speak of will come with time too. That's what always threw me. Don't try and snap the cards round, they'll just go themselves. Watch vids of people doing it, and you'll take it all in.
Same advice for the one handed riffle shuffle. Take it slowly, very slowly, and practice all hell out of it.
