It was used for many years as a covert sleight - Alex Elmsley was fond of passing a coin into a topit. John's original use - the slow coin - is described briefly by Mike Close in the current MUM.

Although it's many years since I met John, I have discussed the move with him on email. He's not seen my lesson, and ironically I've not seen David's (although I had a brief conversation with him when it was first mooted). Perhaps I should have said 'it _was_ the first time...' since it predated David's DVD by a couple of years.

i only have davids version..... when searching for material to learn from it is the only thing i came across, aside from jay's.....

so it looks as though you could have a niche there to exploit if your method is that good!!! :)

See, deleting posts makes mine completely out of context...

I learned and started using the pass in 1994, long before it was widely known over here (I think I was one of the first, if not the first, to use it extensively). I have several lessons on all sorts of topics, but I don't publicise them that much, so a lot of it stays in what is laughingly called the 'underground'.
