The answer will be clear. You'll know it when you find it.
Posting strings of even more weird text is not going to work :D

OK, I guess you think it's a MAC address? If it was I'd need to know more because that's too obscure.
The answer will be clear to anyone, not just techies.

Ah I thought you had converted our values.

"Clear to anyone, not just technies" - Now I'm confused. :?

UPDATED:

Here are the rules:

1. No PMs please.
2. The answer will be clear to anyone. It will not be some obscure reference.
3. If you think that the answer is a set of co-ordinates, a MAC address or some other encoded entity, I'm interested in the entity* not a string of values.
4. The key to this is 'TalkMagic'. This is a crucial clue.

* What I mean by that is, I'd want to know what was at the location of the co-ords, the system that had the MAC address or the secret message encoded in the cypher text.

If that is right then you need to provide the decrypted clear-text. i.e. what is the secret message?

I'm not saying it is or isn't what you're suggesting. I'm trying to point out that the answer is something more specific than "it's a code" or "it's a set of co-ordinates".

I hope you're all enjoying this ;)

Actually a quick look back at the original code makes me think we might be on the wrong track ourselves.
Though one extra point to anyone that can tell me what my first string of characters means
