Greg Wilson, Shoot Ogawa (taught me the muscle pass :P ) Wayne Dobson, hes not let anything stop him, Tommy Cooper, you have to be good at magic, to make it go so wrong on purpose, (like Les Dawson, gotta play piano well, to play it bad... if you know what I mean :? ?)

Derren Brown... awesome performer, smarmy yet loveable rogue, number 1 for me at the moment.

Also Banachek, anyone who has his PSI series, two words.... Alpha Project. Unbelievable story, he doesnt claim to be anything other than a performer, and he knows his roots. What a guy!!!!

Derren Brown, what an amazing amazingly amazing jewel he is, what a performer, what a man, what style, i could go on.................... and his close friend Andy Nyman is also very good, he helps think up the effects for Derren's with him for the TV Show

i also like David Blaine, the instituter of this sudden rekindlement ( sp? )of magic within the last few years ( in my opinion ), i also like Banachek, Luke Jermay, and Thomas Solomon also!!!

Oh and least i not forget Mr Tommy Cooper, a very adept magician  and a great performer, born in Caerphilly in my homeland of WALES!!!!!!!

Definitely Derren Brown. He can blow your mind with the most simple effects.

My favourite magician has to be Stephen Mulhern.
he's simply the best as he joined the magic circle at a very young age!

Kenton Knepper!

He's got some great effects - both brilliant takes on classics and entirely new plots. Great thinker as well, I think he's done a lot for our art. He's inspired many a performer, probably a few of the ones mentioned here. Brilliant mentalist and magician.

Derren Brown too, great performer and showman, as others have said he can amaze with the simplest effect.

John Kennedy for putting out some great commercial routines which I'm sure many here have been thankful for.

David Blaine & Co. for bringing magic to the forefront of entertainment and bringing back some of the coolness of it (before botching it up with a big perspex box nah only kidding  )

Sinajar, whilst there are word censors in operation here it would be appreciated if you refrained from using that kind of language in future.
