I was not criticizing your English, and it looks plenty good to me. I hope it didn't come across that way.

Wells one hint would be to look and see how you flip jus tone card. Try and get your double lifts to look just like that.

The DL is the magicians bread in butter in my opinion. In card magic it is the most prominent sleight, and I think it might be second to the palm in “in your face" difficulty. It has to look so natural you can’t even tell the difference.

Neither of these statements are true I'm afraid.

Though useful, and the key to many, many powerful effects, the DL is not the be all and end all of card magic. From wherever you learn it (other than copying non-instructional videos off the internet), the advice that always accompanies the DL is that it is best used sparingly.

ok back to the ORIGINAL reason for the thread being posted.

Supa-n all i can suggest is becoming more comfortable with the sleights you are using, too much fumbling with cards makes it obvious that your doing something. The actual routine itself was good..all i can suggest is (all together now!) Practise, Practise and Practise some more

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

heres what i mean... ive made a quick clip of the same routine as yours using the same sleights but without the fumbling about with the cards... now I'm not saying its perfect but it shows that your routine can be done without fumbling

Hey guys!

Again, well done Mog - another great clip  (whens the DVD out  ?)

Just a point - did you pick 'none-bordered cards' on purpose or were they just to hand? The point being for Supa-n that non bordered cards are more 'forgiving' when using DL's !!

a pack of Bees was all that i had at the time BUT it raises a good point that non bordered cards DO hide a lot of things (especially when doing second deals etc) BUT the downside is that it makes it a LOT harder to use for effects like Triumph etc
