Dynamo is a mature adult. Whatever lifestyle choices he makes, and how he chooses to conduct himself in privacy, is none of our concern. The scum who are making this public should be ashamed of themselves. They are an embarrassment to the magic community and to the human race in general.

For those who have not heard, Dynamo was on a webcam engaged in a private chat with someone, and it was recorded and publicized by a lowlife piece of s***. This was not something he did publicly, not something he did in front of children. This was the man in a private encounter.

What next? Are they going to bring cameras into our bedrooms?

For the sake of our humanity, for the sake of our fellowship as a fraternity of magicians, we need to show our repugnance for the scum who reduce life to this search for sordidness. We all have a right to our privacy, and to conduct ourselves in ways that are not illegal.

I have no idea what you are both talking about since I live on the other side of the world. Has the evil British press been at it again?

Oh, I think I know that site. By sheer coincidence I read it yesterday. If it is the same site of course. I didn't see the Dynamo reference but I was struck by how disgusting the references to other people was.

As for my reference to the British press I am sure you know as an old newspaper man that the British press are the worst in the world for scandal mongering. Oddly enough I once read an article in an Irish newspaper that Irish papers have to be a bit tamer since everybody knows each other in Ireland!

But yes. Dynamo should be left alone but of course that kind of stuff tends to be par for the course when you are in the limelight. It is actually a disguised compliment because if you were a nobody then you wouldn't even be mentioned.

As with singers, TV celebs, film stars etc the British media, especially the so called 'newspapers' love to hype them up on to a very high pedestal then take malicious delight in knocking them down again. Sometimes the descent is probably justified but our 'meeja' don't care about any such subtleties. Now all such things are online in an instant and, to a certain extent, untraceable it can only get worse. We've seen here on TM how trolls and troublemakers can just post their venom and slink off back to their swamps leaving no discernible trail. The scumbags can't resist such opportunities but fortunately for us, the first 5 posts here don't appear until approved and, as we delete upwards of 30 items of spam a day, they don't see the light on TM very often.

Not having seen the specific item mentioned above I can't comment but I certainly hope the guy who gossips and slanders gets taken to one side and have the error of his ways explained to him, physically if necessary.

I just saw it. Yes, pretty revolting piece of "magic journalism" but I'm not convinced it is Dynamo anyway and even if it is who the hell cares? Well, Tomo I suppose.................
