oh btw... when i was on tour (music 4 skool), i was just mucking round with my friends and i was like... 'hey! who wants this 2 euro coin?' and loads of people go 'YEAH! ME!' that kinda thing. Then i go 'Ok, but only if you cant tell me which hand its in'

then i picked it up and vanished it in my hands without them realising i had just vanished it and said 'who thinks left?' a couple of people... 'right?' a few more... then i open my hands and they r completely empty... SLEEVELESS SHIRT!

*ROAR!!!!!!*

they go berserk and im standing there like ... yeah!

then sum1 goes, 'so where is it?' and i produce it and u could hear the jaws hitting the floor!

Just to clarify some things for myself on this vanish:

    1. This is a gimmick, not a sleight?

    2. Does this require some sleight (palm, conceal something...)?

    3. Difficulty level?

    4. Reset?

    5. Is it possible to produce the coin once you have vanished it?

    6. Are you clean before starting (probably not but want to check)?

Thanks a bunch!

ill answer then all the same

    1. This is a gimmick, not a sleight?

    Definately a sleight

    2. Does this require some sleight (palm, conceal something...)?

if your fingers move then you can do it

    3. Difficulty level?

extremely easy and some places would teach it ina quick 5 minute runover but Brad goes into so much detail that you CANT get it wrong

    4. Reset?

no reset required as it isnt a gimmick and no funny hand-over-hand-triple-switch type complex things 2 do or set up 4

    5. Is it possible to produce the coin once you have vanished it?

yes very possible depending ont he mode of the vanish (see instructions when purchased 4 detail :D)

    6. Are you clean before starting (probably not but want to check)?

This is the great thing about it... YES YOU ARE TOTALLY CLEAN BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER THE TRICK!

hope this helps

damn...that almost sounds too good to be true...umm just outa curiosity though, but can you pretty much make anything the size of a coin vanish or is it a coin because of the shape etc...cuz of so then this would make a TT look like c*** (not the best)...

it can be anything unlimited by shape as long as you are able to perform the technique of the vanish with the chosen object (i cant say very much to make sense without giving it away).

mostly just small objects OF ANY SORT, but dpending on how much you practice it and how abitious you are, then there are alot more possibilities.

oh, and you can vanish coins that cant get anywhere near into a TT.

i have it and know it and do it. PM me and i will only tell you yes or no.

btw, you can do the TT routine if you have to guts 2 pull it off infront of a crowd or a few people. but the reactions would b gr8.

like u vanish in2 the TT and its like 'ok... u got me' and u reveal the TT 'but now watch THIS' and u make the TT and its contents vanish. CROWD ROAR!

This is a definite nono - this would be like revealing IT or DLs to spectators...just because it improves the trick you are doing then, you will forever ruin any tricks with TTs or IT or DLs or whatever you're doing.

It's worse than that, actually, because spectators have a tendency to assume that if they know about DLs, say, then all tricks they see are done with DLs. This ruins the trick - even if you can prove that they're not.

Revealing a magic secret also transmits the message that your tricks are just that - tricks. It tells the audience that you're a trickster instead of a magician...and hence removes the sense of amazement that spectators feel when they see a trick. In the same way as I mentioned above, they will immediatly assume that any new tricks that you show them are done with the same method as they learn.

The only time I would accept revealing something to the specatator is when that something is not actually true...i.e. you say that you do CMH by using a gimmick band, then repeat the effect with borrowed ones. As long as there is no actual gimmick band, it's OK...

Sorry about the rant (well, strong discussion) but definitely don't reveal a TT.

Well, getting found out is another matter but you should never intentionally reveal basic magic secrets to spectators They should never find out either, incidentally, but that's another matter.

if they do find out...well then make another joke of it or brush it off...or have a showdown...lol...give them a deck of cards and confront them..or pause at that point and mention that you wanna talk about good audience manners.
