OK.

Some patter and less titles would be nice.

All the best,

Yes I agree some patter would be better. And A few people have also told me that it looks like i touched the pencil when seeing it from this angle. I'll have to change that.

Fairly good trick. However, I don't like these effects because I think it's easy for the spectator to figure out how it works.

I don't necesarily agree with you Stevebo regarding it being easy for specs to work it out.

Even when you know about IT, there are some very skilled performers that will even fool some magicians where IT is concerned. Imagine how it would then look to a lay person.

I don't do much IT work but it's something that fascinates me, particularly when it's done well. I performed a floating bill earlier in the week in a restaurant and it fooled everyone, even those sitting a only a few feet away. I know that everyone was thinking about how it was done, and some may, or will have been spot on without knowing. The fact that they don't know for sure will leave that little bit of doubt in their mind that you're trying to create.

There were those who were rubbing their £10 notes along their jacket sleve to create the static electricity that causes the bill to float, exactly as I told them.

I'd recommend that you keep playing around and experimenting with these effects. I find that it's the patter and presentation that realy sells IT effects and they can be visually strong.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

It depends where the specs are located on if and how easier they can work it out, I think as your being honest that you’re a beginner that was very good, keep it up mate.

I agree with Stevebo

I would have to agree with Stevebo on the fact that these types of tricks are not my cup of tea. I think their is a flaw built in with all these moving pen tricks- including Banacheck's pen. The flaw is "WHY" does it have to be barely balancing on a ledge.( I am not talking about for method sake) Why not present it with it laying flat on a table or balanced perfectly in the center of a glass and not on its ledge. ( the method could easly be altered to allow that to happen) My point is people could simply think a gust of wind could not the thing over. I am not bashing the new magician performing the trick- well done! I am just saying the trick has a flaw before you even begin it! Good catch Stevebo

sorry for the type-o's in a hurry, this is just one of things that really bother me about some magic!
