Hidden hand?

Postby MrCat » Oct 27th, '14, 19:34

Hey, has anyone here got hidden hand yet? I can't find any vids anywhere apart from the original promo one which looks amazing! Has anyone else found any other vids of it in action? I just ordered a copy today, I'm very excited. We'll see if it's as good as it looks. :D

Have a look at Dave Bonsall's comments on the Prop Dog Facebook page.

Oh dear, thanks barry! Having read those comments now I've a good mind to cancel the order! It sounds pretty shocking. No point in owning it at all by the sounds of how un angle proof people are saying it is! I could have spent that cash on some better stuff I'm sure. What do folk think of Sean fields other stuff in general?

Ha, I just watched the Alakazam vid too, from the look of that I could be expecting a small length of incredibly pricey IT. I'm a bit sad now :(

I will reserve judgement tho, have read comments saying the DVD has a little banter at the beginning where he anticipates disappointment at seeing the gimmick, then people seem to get a bit more up beat having watched it trough and learned some handlings... I shall await, and do a review later!

The thread in another place is one of the most green threads I have ever read!

I saw the video and all I can say is that if you ordered this, you deserve it. Blindingly obvious what you are going to get.

Hahah, well yes I was amazed that earlier I did kind of guess what it was gong to be, however, I'm going to watch the dvd before I slag it off, and it may even redeem its self once I have.

To argue for it which I may be the only person who does, I didn't like the fact that there were a few comments saying people bought it and were so horrified they 'weren't going to watch the dvd in disgust'...that's just lame folks. Honestly, if I sold you a ping pong ball and some plastic cups in a box you couldn't see into, saying it was a fabulous trick and then ran away leaving you to open it you'd want to hunt me down in a bad way :D However, surely if I did the same then showed you the most epic routine you could do with them that would blow people away you'd be more convinced yes? I'm thinking this could be the same. I will write in the review section once I've taken the time to watch the handlings, and I'm even feeling so optimistic that it may be a good one once I see the handlings. I'm also thinking I could make a better version of the gimmick myself haha, and I'll suggest here as well as in the review that Sean might consider seriously the idea of selling just the dvd for a cut down price, purely to save his own skin from a lot of folk whom right now, and those still considering and making a purchase, want to hunt and kill him. Honestly, it's pretty Shocking yes....but I'm retaining my faith the handlings (BETTER!) be worth some of the cash at least.

Is my thread 'green', as in an obvious beginner fooled by a good looking promo vid of a c*** (not the best) (in terms of money spent on it) gimmick? I didn't quite get the jist of that, but if it is hey we all have to start somewhere eh?? Live and learn my friend, and give us a break.

Check the review board later for more!

Cheers folks.

I also bought a trick on the video and initially was disappointed by the gimmick but the video shows plenty of scope for ideas, at least this trick uses gimmicks that can be used for multiple tricks, I assume that it is the same for this gimmick too.

as for this I'm leaning towards http://www.worldmagicshop.com/The-Fox-Holdout-by-Wayne-Fox/ instead.

Green as in typical for the place it was posted where the predominant theme of the forum is the colour green (Not your thread).

Ohhh haha yes I see now! :D Ummmm, yes it is I guess on contemplation, very! I was just getting a bit niffed pointlessly; at people slagging it off and not really giving it any time and much effort as far as I could see. But I'm catching the drift slowly ;)

Cheers
