Going on the rating system used above, it’s a 2 – there’s no sleights, but it isn’t so easy to apply if you’re not prepared to open your mind just a little.


Review
This ebook is outstanding. It’s a little shorter than I first expected, but it really is a case of quality, not quantity. The ebook explores Osterlind’s concept of ‘The Magic State of Mind,’ basically telling you to believe in your own magic; ‘If you believe in your magic, so will others’ is the title of the second part.

Osterlind guides you through accessing the Magic State of Mind, and gives examples of how it works and why it is such a good thing to have.

Osterlind is renowned as a mentalist. However, if you’ve never done mentalism, or have no desire to study mentalism then fear not, the material in this book is applicable to all of us, and will help you, no matter what style of mage you are.


Overall
Looking at my review above, I am quite disappointed as to how much I have written, and feel I have not done justice to the book. This book is absolutely outstanding, and everyone should own it. It will change the way you perform. Ithas changed the way I approach all of my magic, in a similar vein to how Derren Brown’s ‘Absolute Magic’ did.

10/10 – without a doubt.

I will be buying more of his ebooks.

I have this, and "Making Real Magic". I have to agree with Zack's comments. It is a book which is on a par with Absolute Magic. It's performance elements which are covered, and so apply to mentalist and magi alike.

I give it 10/10 too!
