1) It is fairly angle sensitive. From the front, you can see what's going on. Unless it's just that I've never learnt it properly.
2) The noise can be masked. There is a section on Lee's site which gives tips on how to mask the noise. I don't have too much of a noise when I do the twist. Another reason why I put music on was because I thought the music matched and my mic doesn't work well lol.
