Yes, It seems to be like that.

Thats as shame about your Highers though. I didn't know that some people still got taught latin! I do French, and you know how they do that thing where they test you and send it away at the end of 4th year, well I'm in the credit class and I got a 2/3 for my writing and a 3 for my speaking.

I was deeply unhappy :(

Good luck with it atall ... what courses are you taking?

Rob

For my AS levels, I'm doing french and arabic this year and I'll be taking a few more next year.

Good luck guys.
I'm a teacher (it still doesn't sound rights when i say that, because I always thought I hated teachers...in fact I still do!). I work in a pretty tough school where many students don't see the point in doing their work until it's too late.
The advice I would give is to reduce your revision notes onto little cards, and then use them on places like the bus, toilet, in the car, etc, as well as your normal revision time. THis way you put the time usually wasted (i.e. on the bus) into use. This will then free up your spare time to relax (which is just as important as revising). I also used to tape up various important equations etc onto places that I looked at every day, such as the toilet wall, around my mirror, in side my wardrobe door etc. This way the stuff went in without actually trying to take any notice of it.
Hope I didn't sound too 'teachery' (gosh, the literacy standards in schools have dropped!)

That's a good idea, because whenever I try and revise, I end up just staring at the page. Maybe the card way, I might actually learn something!

I don't know what the system is elsewhere in the UK but if you're doing your highers this year, make sure you sit (and pass!) all your NABs. There were a few folk last year who got 'no award's just because they never sat/passed a NAB back in November. The same goes for investigations, even if you do really well in the final exam, a poor investigation can pull your grade down.
Probably the best way to revise for a lot of exams (IMO) is with past papers. If you can do the past 5 year's papers, there's not going to be many surprises at the final. It'll also let you see what the examiners will be looking for.

Thanks for that. That could be useful!
I may even write my notes on the back of playing cards! lol Just for fun!

I can say that my revision worked magically!
