When you say you cannot do it - how exactly do you mean ?? To me this trick is quite easy to learn, it just takes a lil' time to master and get your presentation finely tuned

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

grum7n7 wrote:ahha :D :D after examining the video for the past two days and reading things on this forum i finally figured it out...i even practiced it and tried it out and it worked amizing...so if you want to save money like me :) it is possible to figure out but its not easy and it takes time...and once you do figure it out its hard to practice because you need to look at exactly each move he does in the video and keep replaying them to get it exact...it would be much eaiser to learn on the dvd but overall this is a great effect i give it an A+

Yep. Congratulations. Are we supposed to applaud that? Maybe one day people will stop putting out demo vids if this sort of thing continues, and who could blame them? The fact that they put out a vid is something to be appreciated not jumped upon, as (in most cases) they are showing you exactly how it will play.

This is a great effect and I really do recommend you pick up the DVD, give the creator his dues. Plus you get extra tips that no demo vid will show you.

What customisation of your clothes?

I think that you may be referring to Angel's levitation - this is his coin in soda thread.

i dont know, i think if people can find out how the trick is done by watching a clip, which is not an imprompt performance but one which is made perfectly until the effect looks the best it can me then it deserves to be found out
maby the trick isnt worth buying if people watching a clip can tell how its done, how long would it take a spec to realise

Surprisingly not. When you watch a trick on a video and you have the option of playing it again, it's no wonder you can work out how it's done!

As you learn more and more magic have you noticed how things get easier to work out? Yes? Well this is because you know about more methods, so they will quickly run through your mind as you wonder how it was done.

Basically you are thinking like a magician not a lay person.

Am interesting point made here - How do you know that those who say they have figured it out, actually have?

How many thimes have you thought something works in a particular way, onoly to find out that you were miles away from the actual method?

I suspect very very few people can and have worked it out from watching. Most of those who say that they have tend to be young and inexperienced. There are many very experienced magicians here who have posted about the genious of this trick and recommended that you buy.

If you're not going to take their advice, then what are you doing hanging around these boards?
