In the words of Father Dougle McGuire, "Bear with me on this one, Ted, because it's a bit mad":
Lots of people play air guitar. In fact it's possible to win trophies. Imagine that - winning a competition for not doing something. People also air-conduct entire symphonies, though I suspect that's something usually kept to oneself.

Now, that got me thinking about the idea of air magic...

I can't believe anyone does that outside of an effect, so I had another go at the old thinking lark. This time, I ended by wondering if there's such a thing as air magic in the same way that there's card or coin magic. I'm guessing it'd involve psychokinetic effects.
Then I remembered. It's been done, but I can't remember by whom. Does anyone remember a guy in the 70s who claimed to flick over pages in a telephone book with his mind, but was exposed later when confronted by a debunker. He was a martial arts expert, if I remember, but that's about all I do remember. Who was this bloke, and more interestingly, does anyone use air magic?
