I had exactly the same problem with the set up for the Raven.
In the end I ditched the idea of the dissapear from a buttoned up shirt ( which I never wear much anyway )
I found the best thing for a clean vanish was to either have the shirt un-tucked and the bottom few buttons un-done, or have it pinned to a suit jacket in the same place you would a shirt.
This does mean a more fiddly re-set, but doing any trick more than once is a no-no.
