which is better close up or stage magic?

I personally prefer close-up because it is a more intimate form of magic and it takes a great deal of skill. With that being said, I do have an appreciation for stage magic as well and I enjoy a good big-scale illusion, but I enjoy close-up even more. Overall I think they produce a greater effect in my opinion. I would much rather see the Matrix or a dollar bill changed into a 100 dollar bill than to see an airplane vanish from the stage.
