1 and 2 are true. I'm going to go for 3 being false.

scratch my original post to kat, i'll go for the 3 year thing, private tutors for number 2...i completely lost the plot for my original reply..its the heat!

You guys are indeed correct!

Foil champion was pure chance; there are no other half-decent fencers living around here.

I've been homeschooled all my life, 'tis true. Not many private tutors though, a lot of it is working by myself.

Although I have been to the US many times I have lived right here all my life.

if you had just said 'fencing' i would of gone for that, but you detailed the extra bit, or rather used the correct vernacular 'foil'...so that gave it away to me...

i would of accepted the last two then as if youre family were in the forces or something, and therefore travelled about a bit...

the other two are true! my dad's from the Isle of Wight, and he found out (and has photos) of this little old fella who was a local rum smuggler! he looks a bit like eugene burger actually (not my dad, my great uncle)...

I was going to say that but it's not strictly true as I think there are also epee and sabre competition and I didn't win those!

Hehe the false one from mine was number 3.

1) I have had several premonitions that have come true, including my cat getting hit by a car, that whale getting stuck up the thames, and the London bombings.

2) When i was about 3 i tried to choke my little baby sister with the end of the toggle from her hat, but my nan stopped me. We get along now though!

3) My real name is Rich, but everybody calls my Dave instead, not Tim.

1, Aged 13, I was taught by the Police how to break into cars.

2, Aged 28, I was stopped by the Police for being a runaway teenager.

3, Aged 36, I was used by the Police in a line up in Stevenage.

I will have to go for number 2 as being the false one, because at the age of 28 you wouldnt be a runaway teenager!

1, My dad was a Beat Bobby for 3 villages. when someone got locked out of their car while he wasn't there, he told me what to use to get in.

2, The Police made my day! I have been lucky to look younger than I am, but a teenager was stretching it. Kept me happy for ages!

3, Never been used in a line up. Was asked about picking someone out for one once, but after I gave my statement to the Police, he changed his plea to guilty.
