I'd bin the magic for a while until you've got those three "effects" mentioned by Tomo down to a fine art. I'll give you another one for free - keep talking about "pulling" and "getting laid" and no amount of devastating, impossible magic is going to encourage any woman to come within a mile of you.

I think you're definately underestimating magic in this case. Although, naturally, magic alone will not get you the girls, it definately can be helpful.

Biz,

I would recommend an ESP deck. Whether I'm out on Town or at work, when you mention the power of the mind, women love it. Believe me, much better than cards.

I've also had half a dozen naked strippers stood round me in a lap dancing club watching me float a banknote, but thats another story 8)

And Seige, before you say I'm bragging, too bloody right I am, my mate was jealous as hell

But seriously...Tenko is right. The ladies really love any mind reading stuff. You can gaze into their eyes and place your hand softly upon theirs...

Your half way there...

You're bragging.

And I'm crying.

Last time I performed a mind reading (well, pseudo mind reading—if I could really read a woman's mind I'd probably not be getting married !!!) on a group of women/girlies it ended in tears... I tried the old 'think of someone close to you, really close' and one of the ladies burst into tears.

Little did I know her boyfriend had just been killed in a motorcycle crash.

Ho hum.

Oops! This is a good reason to stick to warm and hot reading!

Mind you, I got a woman once who was happy to participate at the start, but as I gradually filled in the details, she suddenly freaked and said she didn't like people "knowing about her". All I was doing was a bit of Holmesian stuff!

From these experiences we live and learn. Every day is a school day.

I've actually had a fair share of disasters... asking someone if they have a coin I can borrow, and them pulling Anusol from their pocket... borrowing a wristwatch and breaking the clasp... setting fire to someone's gloves...

All in all, they are few and far between, but they stick with you.

I'm NOT a professional strollaround performer, but I dabble. And it sometimes amuses me the situations and people you can run into.

According to whom?

Sure, it's marketed like that (and there was one called something like 'How to Pull Hot Chicks with Your Tricks, Like You Iz a Playa' - I may have embellished that a little, but there was another DVD covering the same ground), but no one's going to say, "Hey, I've put out a new DVD that's basically a little disappointing."

One of the tips in Neil Strauss's book 'The Game' was to do a bit of mind-reading magic. I haven't read the book, but someone sent me a link to a Flash game based on it and you do the old "Think of a number between one and ten" bit.

As a lady I would much prefer to meet the real person not someone who tries to hide behind his magic.

Magic is real, just look around you, some of the most amazing things have no reason, no explanation but are very real.
