I think ive just fallen in love with these cards, and as for the masters edition... why oh why cant it be legal to marry twice at the same time expect a HUGE order for these of me as soon as my bank gives into my demands

I plan on picking up the bicycle ghost gaff deck, the "new" bicycle red gaff deck, as well as the DVD upon release.

Anyone know an expected arrival on the product? Ellusionist site said early July for the "Army of 52 DVD", but here it is and July is almost coming to a close soon.

I think its all being released today or tomorrow on the E site. Still waiting for Seige to tell us when he's getting them in stock

The only thing that stinks is that cool "zipper" card is designed for a RIGHT HANDED Erdnase. The zipper is on the wrong side for me!

you could always turn the card around so you open it from the bottom right instead of top left? might not be as effective though

Well use those two gaffed cards for an effect where you zip their card up, then you could hand it to them and say can you try and unzip it

Just a tought.

Personally, I would pass on Tricycle Cards. $20 for a gaffed card case? That seems a bit high - especially since it's almost identical to the 3 Spade design on the ghost gaff deck.

You're absolutely right, neat trick and all, but high price and a spectator will obiously know it's a pre-meade gaff box, so the real trick they're left with is them wondering how we got them to choose "that" specific card... let alone them demanding to see it again, when you obviously can't show it to them again under any circumstance.

Then you need to learn a thing or two about presentation. Thats why in the demo he reveals it as if he is pulling something across the boxs. Making a palming or slieght or even hand wave long after a trick has been actually done (or in this case never) is a good way of misdirection. Especially with a trick like this that is right under there nose. People will think you altered the box in that moment and swear it once said Bicycle.

I know exactly what he did in the video... The point I was trying to get across was immediately after the trick most spectators will want to see it again, because they will have an idea you won't be able to perform it to the same person twice in a row or even the same person twice... and they will keep an eye on the box a second time. In most cases I never perform a trick twice, only exception is when I'm chilling with some friends. But alomst definitely a spectator will ask you to show that trick to them once more and you obviously won't be able to. So in the least, what they're going to be left with is knowing it was a trick case all along (if they decide to pursue this in their mind), but will still be clueless on how you made them choose that specific card.

Personally if it was me, I would perform for a random person and just walk away right after or develop another heckler-method. Walking away, they will still be in awe of what they had just seen, plus it should take care of the "Can I see it again?" all too often asked question.

All i can say to the red gaff : Wohooo very nice artworks!
really nice eyecandy, i normally dont use gimmick cards at all.
but the plain cards with the alternate artworks gsus.....i could get weak

Yes and I hate to be the one to break this to you but there is no such thing as "real" magic. Practice as much as you will you will never actually be able to rearrange the spelling on the box with just your finger. You will never be like Harry Potter. I'm sorry but it's true.

Ofcourse they know it's a trick box, the trick is how did you get it to change. There is a gaff card in the Army of 52 for doing a similar effect but using a cover on the reversed back. Most people will think this is what you did with Tricycle in some way. They never go for the simple explaination and there is no simpler than Tricycle. They always think how did you DO that? In this case (no pun intended) you don't actually DO anything.

And so you can't do the same trick twice, that goes for a lot of tricks. Even if you could, you shouldn't be doing it twice anyway. Here's an idea, learn a second trick and show them that.

So you can't change the box back, so what, I have coin vanishes that I can't or would rather not make reappear. I simply say, it's gone, it disappeared, or even better "You want to know the secret... there never really was a coin, think about that."
