So far i would say 'Rose from a Card' which can be found at NUMS. Becuase its a visual effect and the lady is left with a rose at the end of it, and most women love flowers

Just my two cents

From my experience, ladies are impressed by magic, just as much as men really. The only difference being, is that it makes flirting with them a lot more accessible. You can do magic all you want, it is impressive and interesting. But if you want to get to know them I suggest putting away the magic after one or two tricks. You don't want them to like you just for the magic do you?!

Well i know I'm only a 'kid' comparied to most of you guys but thats exactly wot i did to get chatting with my girl friend (-to be - at the time) at a party a couple of months ago, becuse i did a few tricks beuase i have a bit of a reputation now and people ask me to show some tricks, anyway i performed a little routine then i went over to the girl 'Hannah', and i said like the usual pealsentries then i used a couple of tricks as an ice breaker, then we got chatting and then i ended up asking her out and we've been dating ever since.

So from my experiences, i found that usign magic as an ice breaker works a treat.

Well thats my story, anyone else got one similar???

What if you were a single, horny lady just after a one night stand? Would magic tricks work for you? Obviously if you arent "the type" to do one night stands then ignore my question

I am sort of ignoring as (now this is my person opinion) if you NEED to impress a lady with magic then that is very sad that you have no other good qualities like honesty. if you WANT to impress a lady to get her attention so you can get to know her better then something like (as most have said) rose from card.

BUT I would NEVER just fall for someone because they has a skill I didn't (eg magic) and as for a one night stand... Not my cup of tea, don't know what you might catch, a bit of crabs or a few warts heck, why not throw in some HIV. Sorry too much of a risk. Plus I think one night stands are stupid you should save that sort of things for people you love and not just throw it about. (just my opinion)

Magic is real, just look around you, some of the most amazing things have no reason, no explanation but are very real.

I am a bit of a pervert (arent we all?! ) but I'm not trying to find women using magic.

NO not EVERYONE is a pervert some people prefer company to other things.

As for why would people hide behind magic? For many reasons, I do.

practising magic gave me the confidence and linquistic skills to talk to strangers and ergo the confidence to talk to women.
adding the odd trick into the negotiation shows you have confidence and the ability to study and practise so on a subtle level helps towards you suitability as a mate.

thease days being married then widowed I'm not into the dating scene but if i was i'd now have the confidence to talk to women without needing a magical boost.
anything that boosts your confidence and communication skills is a bonus when dating it won't get you a girlfriend, your character will or will not do that for you but getting there and openiing your mouth is half the battle.  :D

I think you have hit the nail on the head there discoman!

One of the reasons I started magic was to gain some confidence. It has definitely made me more comfortable approaching and talking to people (in a 'non-magical' way)...
