It really is just Axl Rose and Friends! I saw them live at Download in June! They had some problems and the crowd hated them for a while but they turned it around in the end apparently. Their new guitarist apparently wipes the floor with Slash, but thats just a few peoples opinions.

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

I wouldn't be so sure. Slash is an outstanding guitarist - the music you hear on his band cd's only scratch the surface of his ability. For instance, he is an amazing Flamenco player, though you'd rarely hear any of his work in this style.

I'm glad Buckethead is out. Great guitarist, but he's just too wonky for a stable rock band gig. That, and GnR is the slowest sinking ship in musical history - so he's better off on his own.

Speaking of phenomenal wastes of talent - John 5 in the Rob Zombie band is a horrible waste of talent.

A friend of mine got me into guns and roses when i was 14. He commited suicide a year later and we played Sweet Child of Mine at his funeral. I have every album they have released , but havent listened to them all yet. November Rain is my favourite track so far

November Rain is one of my all time faves. It is "perfect" in my opinion. Killer guitar solo's with excellent singing and a nice bit of piano playing in it.

Holy **** that was the BEST concert i've ever been to. The new guitarists were superb and Axl looked like he was a homeless bum but he still has his moves and his voice.

Setlist and a few notes HERE

Guitar Solo [Richard] + Guitar Solo [Robin] were awesome. They played a guitar only version of Christina Aguilera - Beautiful and it was AMAZING. Dizzy's piano solo was superb aswell.. I was shocked at how good he was.

There is already a recording of "I.R.S." from the concert online

No idea who the guy is who recorded this but the quality is sweet :D

I apologise to the mods if I'm not allowed to post these clips.. I didnt think it'd be a problem.. If it is then remove the links from my post :D

Towers Of London were superb. Never heard of them before but the music was very catchy and they had some awesome guitar solo's. Bullet For My Valentine were AWFUL. Musically, they were decent but the vocals just DESTROYED them.

Easily the best concert i've ever been to. I heard rumours that Axl didnt really want to tour and he seemed bored on stage in other places and stuff.. but not at manchester. He was loving every minute of it and the crowd were unbelievable :D

Glad you enjoyed the concert. I actually read in the paper that Axl didn't go on stage at one of the concerts until he had had dinner. Hope it wasn't yours and it sounds like you had a great time, nice one!

That's because Axl is one of the all-time great divas. I respect his songwriting ability, and probably always will, but I lost all other respect for him after the 92 Montreal incident when they toured with Metallica.

I was told it was the night before our gig. He was an hour late on stage because he wanted a lamb roast

GNR was Slash and Axl.

Thats why GNR and Velevet are c*** (not the best). They lack the chemistry.

I saw G'N'R back at maine road and they weren't that good then.
