Review
The non-gimmicked version has the same effect as the gimmicked but it is much more difficult. You can perform the non-gimmicked version only with sleevs. The sleeving makes the non-gimmicked version extremly hard to perform.

If you have the money to buy a coin expanded shell (20-30$) and the DVD it will be a great.

When you buy Silver dream, do you receive the gimmicked and the non gimmicked version or you have to buy them separatly?

Joker - you are taught both versions on the same dvd - it's a single purchase.

Not to be a stickler, but this entire review is a bit of exposure. I think perhaps certain concepts should be reworded so as not to completely describe the method behind the effect. I think that's only fair to Mr. Miller.

I'm curious as to why the low rating for the clean handling. Is it based purely on difficulty, or lack of effect?

Without the smoke and some sound effects (which you can hear in the preview @ ellusionist.com) the whole thing is not as stunning as you would expect it to be.

I think its OK on the Ellusionist website it says...

What's the best part? Justin makes this as easy as it can possibly be.

Don't like sleeving? There's a highly effective version taught on the DVD that uses no sleeves whatsoever. That's the gimmicked version.

I don't think you should mark something down because it's hard to perform.

If it's difficult, doesn't that make you want to practise it more? Look at the pass for example. Some people practise this for years without getting it perfect, but it doesn't stop us from wanting to learn it.

You're going to miss out on a lot of cool things if you ignore them because they're difficult.

I marked it down because it is so difficult to perform that you need a bit of luck as well. If you do a tiny mistake while sleeving the whole performance is fouled up.

how hard is it to make the gimmick? will it last ? is it easy to find the materials for the gimmick?

Well, no, but you never show them the gimmick. The display is very clean and there is no reason for them to believe that there is anything fishy going on.

Actually was interested in this product until I saw the demo vid. I really did not like the way the effect looks.

hmmm. i havent been on this fourm in a while.

ok. lemme clear up some things.

i went to the ellusionist forum when i first saw this and they said the gimmicked version is pretty crappy. but i watched it and it seems pretty good. i think it looks pretty good but the only problem about it is that you cant show you hands empty at the end.

i dont know what you were talking about his ungimmicked IMPROMTU (well sorta) version peacock. its amazing! should be a 9/10 atleast. im guessing that you gave it a low score because it's pretty hard. the sleeving version is certainly harder if you do not know how to sleeve (which is what i am working on now). but justin teaches his routine really REALLY well.

justin also has two ways to end the routine depending if you have the rigth stuff. the first version is pretty simple and very clean and pretty easy to reset. the 2nd version is much harder and requires a move that i've been trying to do for along long long time... . its also harder to end clean.

learning this routine DOES take alot of time. it's pretty much learning the coin roll, you have to put alot of time into it. but if you do manage tolearn the whole routine, you got yourself a killer semi impromtu coin routine that can be done anywhere!

angles: uh. i dont really know about the angles yet cause i still havent learned the full routine yet. but i have a feeling that it should be pretty clean. just the obvious angles while doing coin magic

oh yeah, you can pretty much create your own sleeving routine if you have bobo's book. justin even said so himself that he learned from bobo's book, but i like dvds much better and i cant learn from text...
