I would think that "force" could be used as energy... maybe...

Is it a classic force? I'm wondering if you're planning on producing energy by doing card tricks?

Well, they're not really forces being generated but fields that are natural parts of the magnets. If they repel, it's because you expended kinetic energy to move one towards the other, and the resultant move is equal and opposite to the energy expended in moving them together, including overcoming friction. Attraction sounds a better deal, but pulling the magnets apart to do it again uses the same amount of energy you put in originally. I gave up physics at A level. The maths was too much, but I think that's about right. There's no hidden energy to get out unless you smash atoms. Mass is energy and that seems to be that.
