Cute trick. Gimmick is fairly expensive though, although from what it does it seems like it's a fairly reasonable price.

Interesting... very interesting...

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

I thought there was something wrong with my ears when I couldn't understand a word he was saying on the demo! It sounded like very broad Scottish to me until the Kanji came up on the screen!

Interesting looking gimmick... but looks a bit too suspicious for me I think.

Yes the gimmick does look a bit suspicious.
I doubt it's examinable and could probably break fairly easy if handled too roughly or tucked away in your pocket.
Of course I could be miles off the mark with this one, but it's certainly what it looks like to me!

i dont mind spending £100++ for a tool like BW, but £39.99 for just 1 trick is quite too expensive for me

I agree.
The effect is impressive to all of us because (at least most of us) we don't know how it is done... But think for the spectator: It is still a great and impressive effect, but would it be as impressive as a card to mouth or a paperclip effect?
In that frame of mind, do you really think it is worth £40?

I personally don't think so.
Even though I find it very impressive, I know that this wouldn't have THE STRONGEST impact on my audience; therefore, it is not worth £40 to my eyes... You can get really good gimmicks for a tenner (I think of cigarette through card here), and you freak people out with it...

That's how I personally think when buying new effect. I always think if it would have a strong impact. You need to think for your audiences, otherwise, you spend zillions and it ends up at the back of a draw...
For the same price, I'd get 3rd degree burn... I think that would have a more impressive impact...

It's quite a clever gimmick, I suppose but I have a few problems with this (after viewing the demo).
1) The fragility of the gimmick might be a concern.
2) I can't believe that it it would stand up to spectator examination.
3) I can produce the same effect with a good colour change for a lot less money and without needing some hokey looking gimmick.

Using the colour change I don't have to have the 6H as the 'indifferent' card every time and (I think) the colour change looks much more impressive anyway.

This just looks like an expensive toy.

I tenbd to agree with you charles.

£40 for a colour change machine  Mr Erdnase will be turning (no disrespect intended).

When you perform a colour change in the hand it's simply stunning to a lay person if done well and automatically says to lay people that you're skilled. I think that the same people will be ultra suspicious of the case and will know that it's a gimmick if they can't handle it afterwards.

as said, we'll just have to wait and see but I won't be the first to review it
