Got mine yesterday. I really have way too much material to go throughas it is without this big brick to study aswell. I have enough for the next 18 months at least now..

this book is quality, so much material.. theres loads that dont really fot my style, but theres so much that I can take on board and make my own.. ive been pretty much a card purist until now, with street and close up illusions surrounding that and trying oh so much to get a grip on coin magic..

this book has opened up so many doors..

the wife will have a few more lonely nights Im afraid

www.youtube.com/brum2redmagic !! Youtube Project started.. early days

Reading: Nothing right now
Studying: loving band redemption
Performing: Speechless, Stand up Monte, Coinvexed,

This was, in fact, the first book Derren Brown bought.

The single best work on general magic covering all aspects of tricks. If I didn't see this in your library I wouldn't know your a magician.

Funnily enough, I recommended this book to someone today. One of those people who consistently asks you to show them how your tricks are done. I told them if they were seriously interested in learning magic they should buy this book and lock themselves in a room and practice, practice, practice!

Blimey Jordan, I hadn't even noticed!!

Has anyone ever seen Mark Wilson performing?
He was a tv magician in the US, but over here in Blighty, well, I have no recollection of seeing him on the box at all.

You could well be right...
I would love to see those old Paul Daniels shows, but they're never repeated.

Mark writes well, so I am thinking that his performances would be as slick as his teachings. Would be good to see him in action or any views on his shows/presentation.

Apparently his US show was quite popular.
