Case and point i was at a function, where a bloke was doing some card tricks, nothing fancy the old deal 300 piles type stuff. I said could i borrow the cards took the cards he swanders off. Anyhow i done triumph the spec went and told him the basic premise. Only card to be found face up.

Now this other guy was like "I KNOW HOW YOU DO THAT ONE LET ME SHOW YOU" and he donw that thingy when the bottom cards reversed. Cant rember the name anyhow, I think this also backs up Moodini's point (no relation by the way) That when discribed to some one 2 tricks can sound the same when diffirent.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

the method

Postby fisherp1 » Dec 17th, '06, 12:22

Hi folks,

I have many ace assembly routines - it is just a personal mission to find out and accomplish the copperfield version. Aesthetics is very important to me, the other ace routines - however easy to setup and re-setup afterwards is of little importance to me.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the second vanish??
I have ordered some dvd's by Jeff McBride; I have looked through merchandise at Paulgertner.com, I already own a lot of stuff from Oz P.

Anyone know the dvd I need to buy for the handling of the 2nd vanish ???

with kind regards to all who have helped me so far,
Paul.

With reference to the earlier post that said that Oz Pearlman's Ultimate Ace Assembly was the same................

I have both and hate the Oz Routine. It's miles different that McDonalds Aces and is not clean at all. Although the result may look similar, both routines use totally different principles.

Of course the "get ready" for the WC is where real slight of hand is required. I worked out what I think is the method and I am now practicing. Not easy if it is to look elegant! I think the key is to keep the fingers dead still while the preparational move is excecuted.

Magic is slight of mind!

fisherp1, Peter Eggnick(sp) has a video out describing this change exactly. He calls it the Melt Change. Very good explanation.
