A Flasher on The Real Hustle

Postby Tomo » Jan 19th, '07, 11:29

I thought that'd get your attention  Not a streaker, but a "flash".

I don't normally watch this show, but last night they explained the monte con using three large brown disks, one with a white dot underneath it. The problem was that when the hustler laid them out, he flashed the one with the dot, making it obvious which it was and exposing the BD he was doing.

Definitely an abra-ca-dur moment.

In the said-same programme, Paul 'flashes' his card switch on the cut sequence to the commercials ;) It gripes me everytime.

Well, now, when people say to me, "Have you seen The Real Hustle? It's brilliant!" I can legitimately say "It ain't all that."

Mind you, if some astonishingly beautiful blonde comes over to me in a bar, a quick glance in the mirror is enough to tell me it's a con :? Any hint of dodgy business and it's "Psychic Tomo" time.

A quick google shows she's a glamour model (WARNING: mild, typical glamour shots, but not safe for work): http://cool-geek.co.uk/4b_jessica.html

No wonder she's not shy! She's what I think a lot of women would call "pretty in an obvious way."

Jeez - I don't think I'll ever be able to watch "The Real Hustle" again without drooling

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

heheheheheh

Just on a less libido-driven note, does anyone find that the Real Hustle sometimes goes a bit too far when 'breaking' peoples barriers of privacy?

I refer to the episode where they broke into houses.

I wonder what legal standings there are?

Well, tapping into people's wifi connections breaks section 1 of the Misuse of Computers act. £5,000 fine. I think it's only sections 2 and 3 that carry a custodial sentence, though.

I don't think she's a stunner, I think she's a bit rough, as well as being a bit over blonde. She looks like she could be in the 2007 Chav Calendar.

Anyway seige, I have wondered about the privacy thing too. Especially a robbery I saw once which obviously had a huge emotional impact on the mark. Not only was that a robbery, but it was upsetting too.

I wondered about the wireless connection one too.

EDIT: Having said that, Jeremy Beadle did some hideous thing too and that was in the name of comedy, rather than education.

What do you lot see in her? She's just so fake and plastic looking with that irritating sulking expression the she's got.

"over blonde"...do you mean we'd need to check collar 'n cuffs to be sure?

anyhoo...moving swiftly on...The robbery is breaking and entering, if the person decided to make a complaint to the local police I'm sure it would be taken further, especially since the mark would be able to provide good descriptions/contact info (via the tv company)...I've never seen the programme but likening it to Jeremy Beadle leads me to believe that the mark actually get's introduced to the stars of the show afterwards? probably wrong though!

Beauty is skin deep, M'lady...

The day women realise what makes men tick, and vice-versa, will be armageddon I'm sure.

Women don't see beauty or sexual attraction in perhaps the same way as men do, and albeit a little chauvanistic, I do believe the green-eyed monster has a large role to play... something which married life has taught me in a very short space of time!
