Well done ID! there are a number of people at TM who do walk around magic at weddings etc, Paul Bell comes to mind. perhaps ask them what sort of things they have done at the weddings that generate extra bookings.

Brad Christen teaches a cool "Magically Printed business card" trick in his HTDSM DVD... knowing you you've probably already got that...

anyway, it involves showing a clearly blank card, passing it through your hands and it comes out the other side printed. a cool effect that is both memorable and "usefull".

I also feel some of the routines in Jay Sankeys "Real Work in Restaurants and Bars" would be great.

another option if you do any ACR work is to let the spec keep "their signed card at the end but you sign it and add yr tel number before handing it over.

i also think Mark Lewis' Svengali routine would be a hit in this environment.

good luck mate!

I have every ellusoionist designed product there is. Thats where I started. I ordered Jay Sankeys Real work in Bars ans Restaurants last night. My wife agreed that it would be useful, though she tells her family that I am having an affair with a bald headed man, and would rather spend the night listening to him talk than go to bed with her

I love the svengali deck, new to it.. will order Mark Lewis' book in a few months after my creative side has developed my pwn routines with it.

The lovely lady has offered to design my business card..

My first batch of business cards have arrived this morning I am pleased to hear.

The Restaurant and bar dvd was a good buy ID. These are some good routines on there along with some nice "quick tricks" and between each trick he also gives guidance on various aspects of working these venues.

svengali can be very handy also for bars etc.

not a fan of sigs, so I won't bother adding o..... oh

I.D wrote:Sounds good. I ordered my first 250 business cards from Vista about a week and a half ago. Very basic business card for now.. just a white card with offsets of blue and a picture of rolling dice *( couldnt find anything else magic related.. well I could but.. not too good with computer graphics Im afraid!! ).

Is anyone here good at computer design.. ? cue a ton of responses reponses  I wanted to import images into my vistaprint account but it looks really bad.. I cant create the kind of image I would like. But I do like what Ive done so far

Do a search for 'magic' on Vistaprint. They have many magic related designs. I have some portrait-style business cards that have a person springing cards. They also have some with a rabbit and a top hat, a magician holding a flaming book and a few other designs
