Oh dear. I've just been told what it now means.

You see, us countryfolk are usually a few decades behind the city slickers, and this sort of thing passes us by.

My apologies to all who may have been offended.

Any road up, yes, there's a lot of it about. Other people trying out your effects with their own subtle twists can give you great feedback and ideas too. A TMer who's seen a rough draft of a chapter of Naked Mentalism tried my book test over a mobile phone text message last week by predicting the words on a random page of a random book. The recipient of the message was somewhat freaked out. It's that sort of feedback that can tell you if you're on the right track or wasting your time.

i don't see the problem with sharing effects and ideas really :?

This is true. Beta testing is a great idea for magicians or you end up with products like Sharpe-ring etc etc.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

She had a pussy called tuppence?

My neighbour had one called minky, which is a less popular name, I understand.

A Bright Young Thing accidentally insulted me on Sunday.

She said, "I bet you can remember the war, can't you."
"The Falklands? Oh yes."
"No, Vietnam".

The thing is, I can... vividly!
