Ninjacd - I'm guessing that your current experience with magic is...somewhat limited so far?
When we discuss Illusions, we're generally talking about farily large-scale stage magic here, which I'd suggest is probably not the best area to start with, if you're a beginner
As with every hobby, it's always best to start small, and spend some time with different, simple effects, so you can see what best suits you.
As a starting point, I'd suggest taking a look at some of the available magic effects at
NUMS - see what suits your fancy/wallet, and dip a toe in the water.
Alternatively (and if you're on a tight budget) check out your local library for magic books, and work your way from there.
Of course, your post could simply be a wind-up; it's difficult to tell, the way it's worded. In this case, please feel free to ignore whatever advice comes your way
