A lot of the software on that list are completely free, and photoshop elements comes free with many electronic components as well as software.

Even if the software is as you say - over £300 - how can they sell you all of that for £3.99?

Also I'm pretty sure that you are not LEGALLY allowed to SELL free software, which most of the stuff on that list is.

the only thing they don't do is back up your website but i am pleased with everything else they do.

i have contacted them and they allow people to transfer domains and hosting plans to other companies.

i do agree with third party hosting for your domains but if they are giving five domains included a don't see why i should go anywhere else, i know this is only going to last a year but i will make the most of it.

I'm not sure what you 'beg to differ' with, if you read my post you'll see that there are no differences between what I said and your experiences. Nevermind.

No web host is going to say you'll have any problems transferring domains, etc. You can't expect them to say "well actually we plan to screw you over when it comes to switching hosts." This isn't to say STRATO plan to do this.

If you can't see the problem with registering your domain name with your host, have a look at problems people have had with 1&1.com. A third-party host has no interest at all in where you point your DNS nameservers. If everything goes wrong with your host, they restrict your access, take down your site, and so on - you always have the option of changing hosts, all you have to do is log into your domain account at your register. If the host, who is mucking you around, controls access to your domain name, you're in trouble.

This isn't a criticism of STRATO, just advice about registering domains with your host.

Hey guys,

Just ordered this today but quite wary that its gna stone money out of me at the end of my one year contract. Can someone just confirm that it can be cancelled before the end of the eyar, otherwise i'll just cancel it now. Rather lose a quid that £20 a month later...
Also do you need to order all of the domains you want when you originally order or do you choose them later as i have only ordered one but choose the package where i get 10

if you want the domains free you have to do them before you pay or you can register them with a different company later and just pay that company and ask them to redirect it.

the contract can be terminated about 1 week before or after the one year, they will send you an email asking if you would like to terminate the contract and if you don't reply they will continue it for you.

so basicly one week before the contract ends keep checking your email

please post if you do purchase it

TODAY'S THE LAST DAY

I just purchased it.. for a quid cant go wrong.

Will probably use a third party for my main domain name as have been screwed over by 1&1 in the past when I changed to POWWEB.

Need to think of a proper name for a site now. For now Ive stuck with sleightsand magic.com, I couldnt get the names I wanted and Www.ID.com doesnt really say anything maical except ID, which it does not stand for.

I like Magic Mindset but that seems to be unavailable though I cant find that as a site anywhere.

Install phpbb in the /public_html/ folder, this is your root folder for shared hosting which you have.

if you have installed in a folder inside root, /public_html/phpBB/ for example, then simple redirect using the function in your cpanel.
