The Effect
A card is held folded in a paperclip and is placed on the table as a prediction. A card is then chosen at random by a spectator from the pack. The card is returned to the deck, the deck is cut/shuffled, tidied up and placed on the table. The paperclipped prediction card is then picked up and the paper clipped removed. The folded card is then partially opened and placed on the table. The spectator passes out as they realise the folded card is in fact their freely chosen and signed card!!!

Review
If I had known before I bought this DVD I was going to learn the MCF I would have balked at thought. That said though thanks to this DVD my ability to learn the MCF has been greatly assisted.
Unless you already know the move you are not going to be performing this effect straight away. It is going to take some practice and some cards so order yourself a few packets or even a brick. I managed to get the move down in the first two packets but it took until I was about halfway through my fourth packet before it started to become impercitible. I also chose to only go through half a packet a time practicing believing in the ethos that for best knowledge intake you should practice a little often rather than long sessions of frustrated learning.
Jay Sankey is funny and very helpful. He talks to you and not down at you in a condescending manner which makes learning easier (I hate it when it seems as though you are watching a magic edition of blue peter). He is very clear on what and how to do everything. Once you have mastered the MCF you are away and ready but please do yourself a favour and dont kid yourself that you're ready if you aren't. When performed properly this is a very very powerful effect and is a good closer to your card routines. However if you perform this badly you are going to look very stupid and will ruin the impact of what should be a knock-em-dead effect.
Also included on the DVD are 5 bonus routines which all have equally impressive results. For instance a routine where there are four $100 bills on the table folded and held by paperclips. The spectator is given a choice of any four folded notes and is told they can keep their choice. They choose one and you remove the paperclip and unfold the bill to reveal it as a $1 bill which you give to them. you then take the clips off of each of the other notes showing them all to be $100 bills and therfore compounding the fact that you're spectator is a very unlucky person!!
Overall
Can I give this 12 out of 10???? Well I dont care, I'm going to anyway!!! This was my absolute favourite effect that I acquired for christmas. Jay has made a much feared card sleight (when read as text instructions) fairly straight forward and has given me a new found card confidence.
Although I got the moves down within 4 decks of cards I went through about 9 or 10 decks before attempting to perform this to anyone other than my partner and my closest friend. It really is a powerful effect and should be enough to blow even the hardest of critics away!!
