You are a big kid at heart.

But saying that, I know almost all of the songs from Mary Poppins. And what's worse, I don't know HOW or WHY I know them!

Sad, really.

At the time Meery Poppins was released into the community (the film, not the person) PG Tips or somebody like that gave away a record of some of the songs. And it was played over and over again in our 'ouse at the time. Brainwashing of the finest order and I still have sleepless nights where the Merry-go-Round horse I'm riding goes tearing off across country and comes third in the Grand National. The animated Penguins come first and second, of course.

I feel queasy... it's like some bizarre and weird dejavu...

But I can recall almost the entire film...

A little off-thread, here, but may prove valuable as evidence when Mandrake and myself get carted off in white padded-interior vans...

I think MagicDiscoMan has one of those ready and waiting! (And don't worry, Meery Poppins will be on again at Christmas. And Easter. And August Bank Holiday Monday.....)

What a lovely thought! I shall have to make time for this, as long as it doesn't clash with World's Strongest Man and the obligatory Carry On film compilation.

Deep sigh... :(

Hah, my sister has both films on video and insists on watching them regularly. I'm sure it has caused some deep seated psychological problems but I'm toobusy twitching at having to read the lyrics to bother to find out.

Cogito, ergo sum.
Cogito sumere potum alterum.
