Friends wasnt good at all. Shes going out with him shes not now oh wait she is again. Almost has bad as that Dr.Who chap.

Phoniex nights is a masterpace with some of the best one liners in a show ever. How can any one not find the one with the pyshic funny?

Not a fan of HI-DE-HI I see its merits but it is not for me.

Peter Kay genius really. Sir Bob Monkhouse now there was a man who understood funny.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

Friends helps me for many reasons:

a) It is just a nice, funny show, plain and simple

b) Aniston is gorgeous :)

c) It reminds me of my friends, and all of the magicians at my magic clubs

And no, I am not gay.... as far as I know...

No, just how supportive the magicians are of me.... they give the best advice. And tons of magicians now know me because of my Parade.... at a magic convention, it was unbelieveable how many people knew me already.

No, it was about MANY things, mainly the love between Ross and Rachel... I was weeping in Season Three at their first break up... Friends brings out the girl in me.

Why do you have a girl in you in the first place? British wit cant beat that.

I know it was hyped up every where . Rachel is going to tie her shoe laces in this episode! and it would be in every magazine I supose it apealed to the same people who liked Bridgit Jones.

Ok man you've said that like 3 times now!

Friends is good because its easy watching, you dont have to watch them in order, anyone can watch and enjoy them regardless of how many they have watched.

Monkhouse - now there's a great name!

I saw him three times and it took and age after the shows finished to stop laughing

Yeah, because when you think intellectual humor, you think George Carlin

My two favorites are Jim Gaffigan and Dane Cook. Dane Cook because he's a bad a$$ and Jim Gaffigan because he's a loon.

I'm sure there's a tattooed 50 year old truck driver with a moustache who'll bring out the girl in you one day too.

As ID pointed out, the irony (alien concept outside of the UK) of Friends is that the people who watch it have none. There is a UK equivalent called Coupling which is almost as bad, though cruder.

The fact that these days people cry at cr&p like Friends and their football team losing but can watch a disaster where hundreds die on the news and not feel a single emotion shows the state of the mollycoddled infatile world we live in.

You're only 14 Mike, so it's just about excusable you like Friends as you've yet to experience things which will show you how bad it is.
Trust me on Chucklevision - you'll love it.

lee evans - come off it...i'd rather watch a real chimp in a suit fall over and look shocked than him...

no one has mentioned the series Sorry!...now that was a masterpiece...

all the best comedies had pathos...steptoe and son, porridge, early doors is up there for me too...

and "my new best friend" by Mark Wooton or however you spell it...

dave allen, the milligan in some instances...

and one guy just about no b*gger has ever heard of...the late great Ivor Cutler...one of the funniest, most poetic and surreal gentlemen ever...
