I missed the first but the second one really confused me for a while. I think I'm getting what going on now though.

Well, I have some handy hints for watching Heroes...

1. It jumps around in time/layers. You have to keep an eye on things like scenery, costumes etc. and try to keep up!

2. Don't think laterally too hard, and make assumptions. The show is excellently written and you need to follow with an almost open mind, as it's narrative style reveals things incrementally which will make sense of things that have happened previously. i.e. explanations follow later on, so just take as much of the plot/story in as you can, and you'll get more out of it later on.

3. There's some really subtle stuff in there, stuff which it's easy to miss. I'm not suggesting that you watch each episode three or four times, I'm just suggesting you don't do the ironing, knitting, or hold a conversation whilst viewing.

4. DO NOT ask people what happens next... even if you know they've seen it all. Part of the thrill of this show is seeing it all pan out. Yeah, there's like 20+ episodes, but stick in there ;)

Oooooo Heroes

Roll on season 2 I say

For those who haven't seen it then episodes 18 - 22 in particular are perhaps the best few hours of tv I've ever watched. Absolutely compelling.

I wish I could wipe it from my brain so I could watch Heroes season 1 again afresh.

I watched both episodes last night - superb. However, I found the Japanese guy a tad annoying. Won't stop me from watching it, though!

Mrs Seige thinks he's the cutest thing since an Andrex puppy!

Actually, he's certainly the central character–so you're going to have to get used to him!

You can pretty much guess that he will be pretty central, as his name is Hiro.

All the best,

So far, so excellent! Only watched the first episode but love it already! Reminds me a little of X-men, smallville, and Lost rolled into one!

Is it on just once a week?

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

I tell you something!! It looked amazing in HD!

This is the 1st series that I'm going to be watching in full HD! I'm glad the BBC decided to do this.

Remember people it's on again tomorrow! YAY!

Your Mum may not mind you frequenting gay bars but I'm sure she would be concerned about your dress sense!

I enjoyed the first couple of episodes but was not 'grabbed' as such. Will take the comments here about seeing it through the next few episodes to decide if it is a real must watch/record programme. ...Those are becoming increasingly rarer. :( Seriously considering getting rid of the cable TV package and reverting to Freeview.
