Wow, a good amount of replies here. Thanks everyone. I'm feeling good about this forum.

Also, I am an American, I live in San Diego. Did you figure by the way I spelled 'practice' without an 's'? Or did you really read my mind? That's a good one.

I would love to find some good magic places(I'm very new to magic shops, conventions, and all) and meet some other magicians around my area or anyone that is located in Southern California.

Also, dont't worry, I realize the importance of presenting magic to laymen rather than showing off my sleight of hand skill[to magicians]. I am in the business of mystifying, not fooling people with sleight of hand! :) :)

I will check out the ID thread. I don't want my $7.50 to go to waste!

Thanks all for replying. A little note for everyone as well: I don't go on much during the weekend so don't be surprised if I seem dead on Saturdays and Sundays.

I'm surprised no one else picked up on it..it wasnt what you spelt D'Chan, it was what you said...

I'm taking it that you try to write on forums kinda like the way you would naturally speak? i think so...and when you said "that was super-****" whatever it was, i forget now...anyway, that for me gave it away that you were american...

there's no other country that phrases things like that...ah! that makes me sound sort of knowledgable doesn't it - well I'm not...

you know where i learnt it? Hearing Gwen Stefani speak on some MTV thing...

anyway - enjoy the place :)
