This might be worthe getting if its an actual gimmic rather than buying tons of matches.........

What is gonna happen to all the tricks involving cigarettes once all the smoking bans come into place

Nothing will happen if you perform Smoking tricks inside a building pub etc, because as a performer (and I mean when you have been hired to do a job, not casually bar hopping) then you come under the performance laws which are different......

Hi guys, I just got myself this and I'm quite pleased with it, if only because I kind of had an idea how it might work and turns out I wasnt that far off at all
But I'm having trouble getting the two supplies needed, anyone who has it will know what I mean, these dont seem to be too readily available in the UK, which is a major pain! Is there anyone who has it in the UK that could maybe point me in a direction? Cause I'm thinking importing them would make the customs guys nervous

Owing to the nature of the materials and what they do you might find that the rather pedestrian places that would have supplied them are out and they cannot get re supplied. I was told one would have to ask the police why and that might cause suspicion in the eyes of much higher "powers that be". Sounds like paranoid fantasy but it is actually true. I know, I asked.

In the climate we all live in, whether real or promoted by those who's best interests it serves, the means to cause these types of "dramatic or potentially destructive events" however small or potentially big (should one be so inclined to put the extraordinary effort into)... needs to be out of the reach of as many people as possible.

Silly as it sounds this is what happens when a climate of fear is propigated...weird huh? Welcome to a very political world.

I'll set this cat among the pigeons...How many (gang or other wise) shootings have there been in recent years in inner citys etc? A lot. How many committed with licensed guns? Almost none. Basically it is easy to find a devil and outlaw it, that looks good... it is a WAAAAAY harder thing to stop sin, one could get that wrong and look weak.

Hello everyone.

Flare arrived a couple of days ago, and I'm really impressed.

DVD - Great quality, everything is explained (via text) in detail and is very easy to follow. When the text is displayed, it is up for plenty of time to read it and carry out the instructions. I know this may seem like a minor point, but I have been annoyed in the past with having to continuously pause instructional DVDs. Set-up is very simple and like the DVD says, the task can be completed very quickly after only a little practice.

Contents - The contents are excellent, everything (almost) you need to get going. Plenty of one item supplied, more than enough to last you a long while and many performances. I really like the idea of providing a template. This could have easily been left out and the set-up could have been explained using just the DVD, but it really helped and it's these little touches that really impress me with new tricks. A lot of thought has gone into the package.

One thing I am having trouble with is finding one of the items not supplied, the one second in alphabetical order (trying my best to avoid people guessing). If anybody in the UK knows of a supplier a quick PM would be greatly appreciated. The other item was very easy to find. The first place i walked into was Boots, who do an own-brand version of it at 100% concentration (the DVD suggests 97% or higher), and can be picked up for around £1.99 for a 200ml bottle that will last a long, long time.

In terms of performance I have been mulling over a few ideas. Obviously the cigarette has to be your gimmicked one, but I imagine a simple switch with theirs would make the effect much more powerful. I've also considered combining it with voodoo ash as a kicker ending, using the specs closed fist as means to light the cigarette, if that makes sense (it's pretty late). I can't see foresee any problems with angles as long as you don't explain to the specs what you are going to do before hand.

A little side note: I was discussing the item that I cannot get hold of with a friend of mine who works in that area and he has told me that it can easily stain clothes in the form that the DVD suggests you obtain, and he has had many a good t-shirt ruined.

WIthout exposing the secret I would like to know where you guys get the stuff needed. I have tried in so many chemists and they either don't have it or when I finally got both they did not ignite anything. Where can I get the required stuff?

* can anyone tell me if all the things that are not provided from alpha magic can be found in e bay? and about how much is the total cost of these products?
