Hey there,

I've been really thinking about getting this book and I need an in-depth REAL review.

If you are going to write a review please include the following:

1. List of effects, their descriptions, and their pros and cons.

Yes, I've read that, but it doesn't tell of all of the illusions within.

Don't let Swiss get you down, Looch. In my opinion, the guy is very much a putz and I've yet to talk to anyone who's met him that disagrees with my assessment.

Eugene Burger (Swiss's good friend) fell asleep during Swiss's performance here in Toledo, which I believe is very much a review of Swiss himself. If Burger finds him boring, well...

So, take it with a grain of salt.

Mike.

How can anyone not like this book? It has everything, coins, cards , watchies, billets and other stuff. I've always said it is one the best mentalism book out. I havent seen the genni review so i cant comment on that but Ham if you are serious on mentalism then get this you wont be dissapointed.

Hi guys

Ive been told about it today but i wont be reading it as i dont really hold the opinion of an arrogant, elitist, finger flinger in high regard. That said, he can slate the punctuation and grammar off as much as he wants. I hold my hands up, i was naive, and didnt get it proof read...a steep learning curve that i have learned from! The material however, well....

I have performed every piece contained in that book time and time and time again. i know it works and i know just how strong the reactions have been from my audiences.

The feedback from so many people includig you guys has been overwhelming. I include a Quote from a rather well known mentalist...

"I was pleasantly surprised when I started reading SAD by Looch and discovered such usable material in its pages. I get a lot of books and manuscripts to review and many are disappointing ... SAD is not! The fact is this is one of the best and most enjoyable reads on mentalism to come along in a long time. If you are into direct and straightforward routines, give this book a look. It really is good!

Richard Osterlind

I have also been told that the review could be part of an agenda not personally aimed at me but aimed at someone else. Extremely disappointing and also petty but theres always going to be people like that in the world.

Thanks for your support guys

What I want to know is. Will there be a S.A.D part 2?

Shamefully, I haven't got round to purchasing this book, but by all accounts, it sounds great and people whose opinions I trust have praised it which is enough for me.

How much of the material relies on gaffs and props? Or is it, as good old Tomo would say 'naked'?

Freddie old bean. It is not a Naked methood book. (few are) Its very much gaffed or sleights but the good news is...That they are easy gaffs to come by or sleights to use. Nothing too taxing you may need a few extra bits and bobs like a Midas (havent got one its £300) but there are other strong routines in there.
