If you didnt like that report, then check this out!

An armed society is a polite society.

Surely the gun crime and shootings in the states are the best advert against this point of view. Can people not see this, or am I missing something. Statistally, the guns in peoples homes are more likely going to kill a family member than an intruder.
I thought that recent high school shooting would have some effect on public opinion, but sadly not.
Someone is likely to now say somethig daft such as 'guns dont kill people, people kill people'. I think the guns help! How many incidents have there been in England where a teenager has gone on a mass killing spree with a cricket bat?
I'll finish my mini rant by plagarising Chris Rock..."Don't ban guns...ban bullets!"

I have an idea!

Get the judges to travel to and from the courts using public transport so that they can expierience life as a normal person does. We may then hear about more realistic sentences for crime.

Judges have lost touch with society and live life in a cocoon.
