Well, I have 'platters' for hands, and I can comfortably palm a Dollar, or 1/2 dollar (actually, I can now palm 5 half-dollars in each hand... which trust me serves no purpose—yet—but has taken ages to achieve).
However, I cannot palm:
1. a 1p—they flip and twist
2. a 5p—same as 1p, but cos of the edge, even slippier
3. a 10p—too rounded
Even though they're not milled, I find 2ps, 20ps and 50ps to be really easy to grip.
I am unsure whether hand size has much to do with things, I think it's 'training'. Although, I do know that Mrs Seige and her dainty mitts can barely conceal a dollar coin, let alone palm one.
Interestingly, something I have no trouble with doing is palming other objects such as pen lids, paperclips, etc.
