Well, I went to Leeds last night on a stag do and I ended up showing a couple of guys at the bar a few tricks (as you do

"What's that for?", I asked.
"For keeping us and some customers entertained", they explained.
Well I got chatting and this pub has only just opened and one of them asked me if I would be willing to go back and entertain the punters - a bit of table hopping I suppose. They wouldn't be able to pay me, but they'd supply me with drinks.
Well, I explained that I didn't live nearby, but said that I'd put the word out on here. Personally, I think this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to get some experience in table hopping etc, with a few free drinks thrown in for good measure.
The routines that I did were all quite basic - I showed them:
Biddle Trick.
Out of this world.
2 card monte.
Kept forcing the same card and "told" them to try and pick a different one.
P***ed their selected card into my back pocket (didn't have my wallet on me

Possibly one or two other quite basic tricks (I was quite leathered, so they needed to be basic

I went in twice and each time I got 2 free Sambukas (I even tried to refuse the last one - but they were very persuasive

If you're interersted, pop into "The Northern Monkey" on "The Headrow" in Leeds and just ask to speak to one of the owners.
If you are going to pop in, could you please let us know on here - it would stop the embarrassment of more than one person turning up.
Oh .... and if you do go - let us know how you get on too.
Good luck
