The one at Hawkins is brilliant, worth every penny...for the novelty factor and "WHOA!!!!" reactions alone.
If we can hit that bullseye then the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards... Checkmate!

I saw that in Hawkins but didn't pay much attention to it.
On the subject of novelties in Hawkins Bazaar, has anyone else seen the round thing that creates realistic holograms?
You put a coin or small object in the base of it and it looks as it there is a coin on top except when someone goes to take it, it's not there!
It's only £3.99, yet I saw a magic site selling these last year for £25!!!!

I saw one of those in Debenhams - it was actually a really nice little illusion. I spent a good 10 minutes there amusing myself with it... (I know. Little things. Little minds)

It does look convincing and I was suprised how cheap Hawkins were selling it for. A nice little thing to have on the coffee table.

It's made of pressed steel with a vinyl print stuck to it and a dimple in the centre that it spins on...very precisely made...spins forever...well, not LITERALLY for ever but a JOLLY long time I must say!
They are also selling a rig that has 2 superbright LEDS on it that fit behind your ears and two little push buttons...cheapo ear D'lites for a fiver!
Their "Mind Magician" book aint bad either.

Yes, that's rather a good little book and suprising to find it in there of all places. They did sell rubber eggs that looked real which I was going to buy for egg bag routines but don't seem to sell them anymore.
