Yeah, good on him, I was quite impressed he managed to pull it off really. The Magic Circle guy came off well, eh?! "Could I do that?" "Er... no, actually, I don't think you could."

Also, six months to learn a rope routine? Who's he kidding?! I know, practice, presentation, not performing until it's perfect (and everything else that begins with "P") but still, half a year to do a simple rope routine... ah well, I guess the 'Circle don't exactly have a reputation of an open arms welcome to keep up.
Also, did anyone else find the Alakazam bit very funny? He's got a few weeks to come with something stunning and Peter Nardi still manages to sting him in the wallet for £240! Now that's a magic dealer!
I was also quite impressed by the lack of exposure, which I had been gearing myself up for. The only disappointment was the wizard PK ring. Exposing the gimmick and naming the item for anyone to google was slightly bad form
Still, not an overall disaster, which it easily could have been. Felt sorry for that guy though... "I've been married twice, divorced twice, with a relationship in the middle that ended badly. But there's always my love of magic." Then gets disqualified for overrunning
