Hi every one

Sorry I have not posted in a long time been busy with work and so on. Just a question about IT,

How easy is it to use?

Will people see IT (How good is it?)

Will I get tangled up in it?

Any good books on it?

Thanks in advance, :P

Like anything else all your questions except the last depend upon your performance. I have a love hate relationship with IT. Yes the audience can see it if you are not careful. In the proper conditions and with the right background it is invisible. And it does work in most conditions and with most backgrounds. My background is usually my shirt so all is good.

You can get tangled up in it. There are all kinds of interesting devices to eliminate being tangled up. But you can still get tangled easily enough. Set ups are not impromptu and require thought and some serious routine managment.

As for books, I'm sure there are others on here that can recommend good books on thread. I basically started when it was new and just played with it. I really like....dang I can't say what I like without giving it away. Let's just say it is a floating cig routine but I replace the cig with other objects. I also do a thing with a candle. I place the spectators ring around the candle, call on the spirits and slowly...ever so slowly their ring starts to climb up the candle.

It is worth buying some, deciding for yourself and then if you decide you like it go for thread reels. Thread itself is cheap. Again just my opinion.

Well i've been using IT for ages and know one has actully seen it before the closest people have actually ever got is them saying that I'm using invisible string but i then wave my hands over the top of the object I'm levitating and shut them up, simple .

It can become visible but it depends what kind of conditions your in i wouldn't perform it on a really sunny day outside because that would be... stupid but i suppose you can get away with it in these type of conditions depending on your clothing i would recomend a dark top and also a dark backdrop if this is the case then the IT will be practically invisible. Hope this helped

I hate IT. You can't see the bloomin' stuff, it never goes where you want it, it gets all tangled up, and just when you think you're sorted it goes and snaps on you. Use IT? I'd rather pull my own teeth.

And anyway, making stuff float is so 1990's!

That's my problem as well. I know I can't see it but my eyes aren't as good as they used to be so I have to assume that others with sharper, younger eyes can see it. Hence, I don't use it.
