mainly because:
its really all about the girls, and not 50/50
you're being told WHEN to be romantic
it makes men lazy romantically

if you don't feel like, or want to spoil your woman and actually need a "special day" then that's up to you...

but please dont inflict those stupid bleedin' bears and balloons on me - it makes me cringe...its a horrible corporate day...just invented to make money out of you...RESIST!

spoil your woman on other days, when you feel like, or the mood takes you...I'm wholeheatedly for that...but other than that - bog off...

did you know the origins of valentines day is about a monk who got found "guilty" of seeing a woman, and had his head chopped off because of it? and they threw the love letters into the basket where his head plopped into...hence the red envelopes and all that stuff...

my wifes been dead so long she's spoilt enough by now.

besides i can't aford a girlfriend yet, but when i can rest assured i won't be needing a special day to remind me to be nice and romantic.
