I've seen this before, but I still think it's amazing. I do a Proff's nigthmare routine that I'm really enjoy performing.
I might actually and take a few snippets from this routine and modify it into the one I do, although that might give me a headache.
Mind you it's prbably worth it.

For anyone who is new to rope magic I would almost certainly recommend Professors Nightmare as a starting point and then there are a number of cut and restored rope routines to take your pick from.

However, One DVD I would recommend for reference and learning is Daryl's Expert Rope Magic made easy which is a 3 volume set.

Just about everything that you can find on all of the popular rope DVD's and ore can be found on these three discs and they're not much more expensive than a single DVD

I would recommend this before you move onto Tabary unless you are an experienced rope worker.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
