Hi Anthony,

After debating with myself over the past few days i have just purchased a copy so hopefully should be receiving it within the next few days or so.

All of the reports seem to be positive and it looks like this is the exact book that i've been looking for, i will report back once i have read it and let everyone know what i think.

how do i qualify for the supplements as I'm very interested in furthering my knowledge in any way shape or form and the more you can teach me the better i can become as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks in advance

Luke

Hi Luke,

many thanks for your order.

All you have to do to get the supplements is identify yourself as someone with an interest in magic/mentalism.

You have therefore they will be emailed to you.

Stay in touch with any questions.

This has just been released as a PDF download by The Merchant of Magic at 22.50 pounds. More temptation for some.

Hmm i would be surprised if it was released as an eBook it would be much more open to piracy etc. I'm sure most are aware that if it was released as a PDF it would only take one iMagician uploading it to a torrent site for Mr Jacquins fine book to become accessible to anyone with an internet connection for no charge.

I feel that at least with the £25 price tag only those serious about the content will be willing to pay for the hard copy of it.

Also i don't know about you but there is just something about having a hard copy of something that helps me absorb it better (plus it reduces the old eye strain)

Anthony if you are reading can you confirm/deny the claims for those too lazy to go over to the merchant of magic and check?

Edit: One possible solution to this Anthony is to issue a personal password for each copy or to issue a personal cutomer number on each PDF so you know which little bu**er uploads it.

All I can say is if you want to learn methods of improptu hypnosis this is ALL you need. FACT.

Forget all these hypnotherapy books you have to trawl through to find inductions and learn how to do 'what Derren Brown does'.

Get this book and become a hypnotist. A REAL hypnotist.

HI,

thanks for the feedback MasterCyde. You seem to have grasped the idea. Be The Hypnotist :)

Yes after much soul searching and many trips to the postbox I have decided to let Merchant of Magic resell it as a PDF. They will also be selling the video footage as a separate item. I will still sell the hard copy book.

Because they are now selling the video footage I cannot continue to include it for free. From munchtime tmrw it will be 12.50.

I appreciate your comments about piracy. Efforts will be made with security but in the real world it is not gonna stop anyone. They wil just copy it add it to their already bulging library and never actually read it anyway.

I am planning a 'Reality is Plastic' training course on hypnosis aimed at magicians and mentalists. It will take place in the next few months. Hopefully in time for HypnoAttack - our annual gathering at Blackpool Magic Convention. If you want to register interest early just email me on enquiries@anthonyjacquin.com as places will be limited.

After much deliberation of the trusted and valued opinions of the Talk Magic community, as well as the uber swift response of the author, and fact that the DVD is to be sold separately, I finally succumbed to those relentless CUPS demons, who impulsed me into a slight panic buying of this, whilst whispering sweet nothings into my ear... Sounds as if it's gonna be a good purchase.

It has to be the hard copy all the way.

I've bought this book, read it once and its dangerous! By that I mean it really really works. I'm going to read it a second and third time just so I can wake people up properly and have more ideas for what to do. I had my first real success last saturday.

The scene, A dinner party with a few close friends who know that I do magic.

The senario, I was asked to do a couple of tricks so I showed them a couple of things then we get to a little more nibbles etc (All IB through out this has been included with my knowledge :) ) when I pipes up to the one guy I only met that night for the first time that I do hypnotism. Yes he of having read this little tome only once. He's willing to give it a go I start off with the first induction test thingy with the index fingers and as his fingers touch he just stares at his fingers struggling to seperate them. I click all of a sudden that he must be "under" so I tried the arm one and that works a treat then I put him asleep for real. The fun I had plus the other guests was off the scale.

What I did: Hand Stuck to glass, glass stuck to table, unable to drink the glass no mater how thirsty or how much he wanted to do, invisible friend to floating object to friend reappearing out of the blue on a command word. He says a word every time someone says hello. Friend being Samuel L jackson then the most good looking guy in the world to me being Keanu Reeves ( I really knew he was under at this point :) ) Forgetting the number seven to feet stuck to the floor and really needing the loo (cheers Beard) I sent him to sleep and woke him up feeling nice and refreshed but 15/20 mins later we're having normal dinner convo and someone says your 27 aren't you X he insisted he was 28 and that last year he was 26 (back to sleep and wake him up again) hence the wanting to read a 2nd time.

Result: This is amazing, you won't believe its for real at first if you're an "unbeliever" like me. Fun? You betcha it is,

Previous reading: ZERO

Verdict: 10/10 for me, and the author gets back to you in no time. Cheers and thanks for reading this random story.

PS the next time I see this guy its hand shake induction time at least an attempt

Thanks so much. I couldn't have written a stronger review myself. I am so pleased your first experience was a good one.

Trust me he will go with a handshake next time you see him assuming you intend him to. Don;t stand around waiting for a sign from him. Do it and then continue giving him a feed of verbal to occupy, stabilize and intensify.

Stay in touch with any questions. Thanks for writing.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago after reading the amazing reviews, but with holidays and work committments have only very briefly scanned through it.

I will definitely be studying it this weekend instead of the pub. Or perhaps read it in the pub then.........!!

I agree with the great comments about Anthony too - very quick and detailed replies to my E mail and that swings an order for me.

Couldnt agree more sir. In fact i always print PDFs out so i can digest them in a comfortable chair or make notes etc.

Plus im a sucker for an interesting bookshelf, id rather have an old wooden shelf bowing with the weight of knowledge contained in the books resting on it, than a neat little rack of CD-Rs.

I have to echo what everyone has said about Anthony's prompt and helpful replies. After exchanging several PMs I finally decided I had to order. By the next morning Anthony had emailed - even continuing to answer some of the questions from the PM.

It sounds like the book lives up to the customer service, I can't wait.
