Last year, I started a list of our members who were going to Blackpool Convention. Ive decided to do the same again for 2009.

I'm going to attempt to book accommodation today. I get the feeling i'll be ending up in one of those "stag/hen parties welcome" places. ah well, it's only for 3 or 4 hours a day.

Im having problems with my hotel - I never received the booking form and I cant get hold of them by phone....

I have just booked the hotel for 17 with gold cards most of are magic club are going.

So count me in, i will be there, and look forward to metting up with some of the tm folk.

This will be my convention cherry-burster! I'm looking forward to it, especially seeing the mentalist show on the Friday evening - I've so little money at the moment but I always promised myself that if Richard Osterlind was performing in the UK then I'd grab the opportunity with both hands. The fact that I get to see so many other people, attend lectures etc is a fantastic way of doing something you've wanted for a long time. Hopefully I'll get to rub some shoulders with TM members too!

I'll be there buddy. Am booked in at the Albany. And if Lawrence wants a lift and holds my hand all the way back like last year I might give him a bunk up (sorry, I meant lift)

The lovely people at work are giving me a bonus on my end of January pay. :: oh dear :: And I was going to be sensible with the purchases this year too!

Anyone else chiming in?
Are we having a get together at some point? A pre show couple of drinks on the Saturday night perhaps?
